POWER SWITCH — ON/OFF AC power.
POWER LED — Solid blue LED indicates the unit is ON. Blinking blue LED indicates the unit is in standby mode.
INPUT SIGNAL LED — LED is green from -39 dBV to 9 dBV, LED goes red over 9 dBV.
OUTPUT LIMIT LED — LED is green from -46 dBFS to -2 dBFS, LED goes red over -2 dBFS, approximately 80 W/channel.
AUX INPUT — 1/8-inch (3.5 mm) stereo line-level input connector. Connection mutes INPUT A and INPUT B for priority override when the AUX INPUT DIP switch is set to “Enabled.”
INPUT A/B Switch — Allows selection of rear line-input channels A or B.
TREBLE/BASS Knobs — Provides ±6 dB adjustment at 7 kHz and 100 Hz.
– IZA 2120-LZ: One set of knobs, allows tonal adjustments of both outputs simultaneously.
– IZA 2120-HZ: Two sets of knobs, allows tonal adjustments of each output independently.
MASTER LEVEL* — Controls the overall system volume for both the loudspeakers and the AUX OUTPUT, when the AUX OUTPUT DIP switch is set to “Variable.” If AUX OUTPUT DIP switch is set to “Fixed” then the AUX OUTPUT goes to maximum level, and changes in the MASTER LEVEL do not affect the AUX OUTPUT level.
* When using a REMOTE volume connection the front panel MASTER LEVEL control becomes disabled.
* When using a REMOTE connection with A/B source selection, either the REMOTE or the front panel can be the MASTER SOURCE control for A/B select, selectable via a DIP switch. MASTER LEVEL control will always be from the REMOTE, and the front panel MASTER LEVEL control becomes disabled.
INPUT A/B — Balanced and unbalanced input connectors.
INPUT GAIN — Allows for -20 dB to +20 dB of adjustment to each INPUT A/B.
PAGE INPUT — Euroblock mic/line input with trigger contact closure for use with push-to-talk microphones.
PAGE INPUT GAIN — Allows for 0 dB to +50 dB of gain control of page input signal.
PAGE INPUT THRESHOLD — Adjusts the level at which signal from the Page input causes other inputs to be lowered.
DIP Switches — A bank of switches to set the amplifier configuration.
REMOTE — Input for volume control with A/B source selection switch (PC 041967).
AUX OUTPUT — Variable or fixed output line-level signal for routing signal to additional audio equipment.
EQ – Provides loudspeaker equalization presets:
– IZA 2120-LZ: IZA 2120-LZ: Flat, FreeSpace FS2, FS4, DesignMax DM2, DM3
– IZA 2120-HZ: IZA 2120-HZ: FS3/HPF, DS 16, DS 40, DS 100 and FS3B (One EQ switch for each output)
MUTE — Contact closure connection that upon trigger (short) will mute all outputs (including AUX OUTPUT).
OUTPUT 1 / OUTPUT 2 TRIM — Allows for up to 40 dB attenuation of the individual loudspeaker outputs relative to the master level.
OUTPUT Connectors — Two inverted touch-proof 2-pin Euroblock connectors for loudspeaker connections.
UPDATE — USB type B female for updating firmware and EQ settings with update utility.
AC Mains Receptacle — Universal AC line voltage input.
The IZA amplifier is appropriate for use in many applications including retail stores, restaurants and bars, hospitality venues, conference rooms, schools and auxiliary zones for large sound systems.
Rear panel DIP switches offer flexible operation modes:
OUTPUT — The outputs can either be set to stereo or mono mode.
A/B SELECT — Master A/B selection can either be front panel controlled or remote controlled.
AUTO STANDBY — If enabled the amplifier will go into auto standby mode after twenty minutes without an input signal.
PAGE BYPASS MASTER — The paging volume can either be set to the master volume or be set at its own independent volume with the rear panel knob.
PAGE MODE — Paging can either mix with the selected input source or duck the input source when activated.
PAGE START — Paging can be activated on either a PTT stimulus or a VOX stimulus.
AUX OUTPUT — The auxiliary output can either have a flat output (without EQ) or with an EQ set from the EQ slide switch.
AUX OUTPUT — The auxiliary output level can either follow the master level when switched to variable, or it can be set to maximum level when switched to fixed.
AUX INPUT — The auxiliary input can either be enabled or disabled. If the auxiliary input is enabled a connection made to the auxiliary input will mute all other inputs.
REMOTE 1 CONTROL — Remote one can be set to control both outputs (zones) simultaneously or each output (zone) can be controlled via its own remote. Each remote has independent A/B selection capability.
AUTO STANDBY — If enabled the amplifier will go into auto standby mode after twenty minutes without an input signal. The feature can be enabled (ON) or disabled (OFF) by a DIP switch.
PAGE OUTPUT — Paging can be set to occur in zone one only or both zones.
AUX OUTPUT 1 — Auxiliary output 1 (white) can either have a flat output (without EQ) or with an EQ set from the EQ 1 slide switch.
AUX OUTPUT 2 — Auxiliary output 2 (red) can either have a flat output (without EQ) or with an EQ set from the EQ 2 slide switch.
AUX INPUT — The auxiliary input source can either be output into zone one only or both zones.
OUTPUT VOLTAGE — The output voltage can either be set to 70V or 100V.
Dynamic EQ is a DSP function that ensures full and balanced music at any volume level.
Opti-Voice paging is a DSP function that equalizes the vocal frequency range for clear speech intelligibility while providing seamless transitions.
No. All set up is done locally from the front and rear panels.
The amplifiers are fully protected against loudspeaker output shorts, high temperature damage, and excessively low or high AC line voltage conditions. The IZA 2120-HZ also has an integrated 55 Hz high pass filter to avoid potential transformer saturation.
No. This product must be used indoors. It is neither designed nor tested for use outdoors, in recreational vehicles or on boats.
The IZA amplifiers do not supply phantom power for use with condenser microphones. The IZA 2120-LZ / IZA 2120-HZ will support low impedance signals from dynamic microphones.
