Under the 149/2014 European Union (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations, for products that you buy from Bose Professional which carry the crossed-out wheelie bin symbol, Bose Professional provides arrangements for the collection, treatment, recycling, and recovery of these products when they reach end-of-life.

In addition, for any old products purchased before 13th August 2005 that your purchase from Bose Professional replaces on a one-for-one and like-for-like basis, Bose Professional provides arrangements for the collection, treatment, recycling, and recovery of the old product which is being replaced.

Bose Professional takes its environmental responsibilities seriously to ensure a high-quality recycling process for our products when they reach end-of-life. Bose Professional has implemented a recycling agreement with the European Advanced Recycling Network (EARN Elektroaltgeräte Service GmbH) to ensure the correct treatment, recycling and recovery of WEEE for which Bose Professional is responsible.

As part of this agreement:

  • Bose Professional will pay for the costs of treatment, recycling and recovery of WEEE for which Bose Professional is responsible
  • In return, Bose Professional requires the end-user customer to arrange and pay for the costs of transport of the WEEE to the EARN recycler in Ireland

To organise transport of small quantities of WEEE for which Bose Professional is responsible, please use the link below to complete the online form:
